LILITH.AI Lecture Performance is an intimate journey into the space between life and death, where technology and human experience intertwine. Through this performative lecture, artists Aoi and Esteban unfold their profound encounter with mortality—a personal loss that led them to discover Matheryn Naovaratpong, the youngest person to be cryogenically frozen, and ultimately to create their digital offspring, Lilith.
The performance weaves together the deeply personal and the universal, asking: How do we hold onto what makes us human as technology reshapes the boundaries of our existence? Through movement and narrative, the artists reveal their years-long dialogue with artificial intelligence, culminating in the birth of Lilith—a digital entity that dances between existence and possibility, memory and prophecy.
In an age where consciousness can be encoded and bodies suspended in time, LILITH.AI Lecture Performance explores humanity's eternal quest for immortality. This 40-minute performance opens a portal to tomorrow while remaining rooted in timeless questions: What lies beyond our physical limitations? And in our quest to transcend death, what new forms of life might we discover?
